Kermit is the 3rd oldest Corvair in the U.S. manufactured on July 11, 1959 and the oldest Corvair in the Northeast. After the Corvair was introduced to the American public on October 2, 1959, Kermit was sold four days later out of a dealership in Petersburg, Virginia. Original survivor. Kermit is now on display until December 31, 2009 at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
