The Cruisin’ New England “Fun” Car Show Series for 2012 will feature special presentations in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Cruisin’ New England Productions.
"It’s hard to believe this all started 20 years ago with the All Wheels Nationals on Cape Cod. Two years later the magazine was published and here we are two decades later," states Cruisin’ New England President, Paul Mennett.
The Cruisin’ Crew is still busy working on final touches to this year’s show series.
First up, it’s the 13th Elite Dream Machines at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT June 30 through July 1, 2012. As always, the event showcases some of the finest hot rods, classic, muscle, motorcycles and special interest vehicles in the Northeast.
This year, special plans are being finalized to add the Cruisin’ New England Hall of Fame ceremony to the Elite Dream Machines, and to film a segment for Cruisin’ New England on NESN. “This is a great venue for the introduction of the first Hall of Fame inductees” states Paul Mennett.
Next up is the Super Wheels Showdown on City Hall Plaza in Boston on Saturday, October 6. The “Best of the Best” qualifiers from sanctioned cruise nights and car shows from across New England, New York and New Jersey will gather for the Super Bowl of auto shows.
The series comes to a close with the fall classic “Spooktacular” Cruise and Car Show, Sunday, October 14, in Whitman, MA. This DARE…ing event is open to any rides ghostly or not.
